2024/2025 Contentserv wrap-up: Syndication, AI and close the loop

Thank you for your continued partnership and invaluable feedback. Last year was filled with exciting innovations at Contentserv, many of which were directly inspired by your requests. Below, you’ll find a quick recap of the most impactful updates from 2024, plus a sneak peek at what’s coming in 2025.

  1. Syndication & Feed Management

We introduced Shoppingfeed, a new syndication and feed management solution that seamlessly connects your product data in Contentserv to 1,000+ marketplaces and marketing channels — including Amazon, Google Shopping, Bing, and Facebook.

With built-in order, inventory, and price management, it’s never been easier to optimize your listings and maximize digital shelf potential.
  2. “Close the Loop” in Product Experience Management

You told us you needed deeper, end-to-end product visibility in today’s multichannel landscape. We listened and enhanced our Digital Shelf Analytics (DSA) module to integrate with external data sources (e.g., Amazon, Excel, REST APIs). Now, you can monitor reviews, orders, and performance across every channel.

Coupled with UI enhancements in PIM Studio, DAM Studio, and our improved Explorer, you’ll see a modern interface that places critical data at your fingertips — from product creation to customer feedback. That’s how we help you indeed “close the loop” and drive continuous improvement.
  3. Generative AI for content that connects

We’re committed to continuous innovation. Enter our AI-driven features, which simplify and elevate content creation. Our expanded AI Vision suite and new Gen AI Text Assistant leverage ChatGPT to analyze product images, auto-generate data models, enrich attributes, and refine text descriptions.

Whether you’re localizing copy or creating new content, these tools help deliver more engaging and efficient product experiences.

Plus, more usability & flexibility

  • Explorer upgrades: Collapsible trees, full-screen list views, and an open beta for Grid Editing make it easier to browse, filter, and update product data at scale.
  • Onboarding & multi-brand portals: Localized catalogs, self-service metadata management for suppliers, and fresh design themes let you tailor portals to your brand or region with ease.
Explore our in-depth documentation to learn more about each of these updates.

What’s coming in 2025

Digital Shelf Analytics

We’re building on our successful DSA module to deliver deeper insights for both B2B and B2C customers. Expect richer data from connected channels via our syndication engine and new analytics capabilities — enabled by our acquisition by Centric Software—giving you unprecedented visibility into product performance.

Enhanced AI Features

We’ve only scratched the surface of AI’s potential. Look forward to next-level enhancements — tailored to your specific product data and workflows — that will supercharge personalization and conversational commerce. Get ready for smarter, faster, and more intuitive processes throughout your product journey.

Product Experience as a Service

Our next API-first service will offer real-time access to product data from the Product Experience Cloud. Seamless integrations with your apps, databases, and eCommerce platforms will be easier than ever, helping you accelerate go-to-market efforts and build connected experiences that truly delight customers.
