Rohrbach, Germany — October 30th, 2019 — Contentserv, the global Product Experience Platform (PXP) leader and AX Semantics, the leading content automation solution and Representative Vendor in Gartner's Market Guide for Natural Language Generation (NLG) Platforms, today announced the launch of their content automation connector, in conjunction with implementation partner hmmh. The new connector enables customers to automate the creation of high-quality product content, management and publication across all online channels from a single platform.
Contentserv and hmmh worked closely together to develop the new connector using AX Semantics' NLG platform in order to drastically change the way organizations create, manage and publish content. The connector enables retailers and brands to produce approximately 30,000 high-quality product contents in up to 110 languages per month based on provided data.
“With over 20 years of experience in digital content and as a proven automation expert, it is part of our DNA to develop innovative content production solutions. Together with our first-class solution partners, Contentserv and AX Semantics, we are paving the way for an automated product text creation,” says Philipp Kruse, Unit Director at hmmh AG.
The connection of the two key technologies will enable Contentserv customers to automate text creation, thus achieving significant time savings and streamlined workflows, resulting in accelerated time-to-market.
“The hybrid editorial process in which man and machine work together will be the model of the future. Today's content marketing will provide us with new impulses, forms and content through automated processes," explains AX Semantics´ Managing Director Saim Alkan.
“The standard integration of AX Semantics will help our customers become even more efficient in their content production process. Contentserv Business Solutions will provide this as a standard connector on our marketplace as well as an add-on to our new SaaS platform. In hmmh we have a powerful consulting partner that would provide the necessary expertise and consultation services to our customers,” adds Alexander Wörl, Director of Global Business Solutions & Presales, DACH at Contentserv.
hmmh and AX Semantics' Yanneck Schleese and Saim Alkan will join Contentserv at the Product Experience Summit on November 6th and 7th 2019 in Rohrbach, Germany, to talk about content automation and the limitless possibilities of creating appealing product descriptions from product data. AX Semantics was founded in 2001 as aexea GmbH in Stuttgart and renamed AX Semantics in 2016 as a pure tech startup focused on content automation. The company is led by founder and CEO Saim Alkan, an industrial engineer who recognized early on the importance of automated text creation with Natural Language Generation for e-commerce and the media. With currently about 40 employees, AX Semantics is equipped with venture capital from publishers and private investors. Airbridge Equity Partners recently acquired a further stake in the company. Further investments and grants were made through the New York Tow Center for Digital Journalism, the Google Digital News Initiative, and the Volkswagen Digital News Initiative. At the German Innovation Awards together with Accenture and Wirtschaftswoche, AX Semantics was rated as one of the top 5 companies. Most recently, the jury of the Smarttechaward by criteo selected the company as the best smarttech provider. These and other awards--from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, and numerous other institutions--prove the exceptional quality of the solution. AX Semantics' software has also helped its customers win recognition: use of the software enabled the German-language daily newspaper Stuttgarter Zeitung to win the Konrad Adenauer Prize for the processing of large amounts of data with innovative technology for text automation on the subject of air particle levels.
